Veteran eSports organization Evil Genuises returns to Counter-Strike after acquiring the North American roster of NRG. They are set to play in EG colors in ESL One New York that commences just in hours. NRG as of now are performing excellently and are 4th on the HLTV Rankings.

NRG has been in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive scene since 2016 when the organization picked up a lineup after the MLG Columbus Major in April. The organization went through a few different rosters before finding a foundation with the core of Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte, Ethan “nahthE” Arnold, and Cvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov,

Recently, NRG made two roster changes, bringing in Tarik Celik from mibr in February after the IEM Katowice Major and then acquiring in-game leader Stanislaw from Complexity later in June.

It will be interesting to see how the brand does in CSGO fraternity given the success that they have achieved in Dota 2.

Judging by the looks of it, the EG jersey seems like a nice fit for NRG guys.
