Boombl4 joins 1win after nine months of hiatus

Boombl4 1win

1win has completed their roster with the signings of Boombl4 and Aleksei “NickelBack” Trofimov.

Boombl4 has been inactive for the past nine months and his return to 1win marks his return to CSGO’s pro scene.

The fate of Boombl4 had indeed turned upside down ever since he was benched by Na’Vi after the conclusion of the PGL Antwerp Major 2022 citing “high reputational risks towards the club” and was not because of his in-game form.

The club’s CEO did state that they would never work with someone who still pays his taxes to the Russian federation but the content today which surfaced on Twitter did append a different picture before the Counter-Strike community.

Boombl4’s acquisition boosts 1win, which features Eastern Europe’s up-and-coming talent, Denis “deko” Zhukov. Boombl4 helped NAVI win the $1 million Intel Grand Slam Season 3 and PGL Major Stockholm in 2021.

Boombl4, who was benched by Natus Vincere in the middle of 2022 after a dispute with his then-wife became public, has signed with the team.

Defamatory content including pictures and videos of former Natus Vincere in-game leader Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhaylov were made viral earlier on Twitter previously posted by his ex-wife on a Telegram channel.

The Stockholm Major Winner joins 1win as a strategic coach alongside hooch while hooch himself reunited with two of his former teammates from Entropiq, Forester, and NickelBack.

The newly acquired trio and the new manager have completely remade the team’s starting lineup. Star AWPer Denis “deko” Zhukov and Aleksandr “TRAVIS” Timkiv are the only holdovers from the previous squad.

1win has been making significant progress towards its goal of improving its squad in the upcoming competitions.

And with the signing of Boombl4 and hooch, it has completed the process of filling out its squad for the season. The squad’s focus right now would be BLAST.TV Paris Major 2023 European RMR Qualifier. The newest additions to the team are anticipated to be essential to the squad’s success.
