CS:GO agent skins will be allowed at the Major

CSPPA gives the Go-Ahead to use Agent skins in Major.

According to a report from DOT ESPORTS, CSGO Agent skins have been given a green light to be equipped in the upcoming major in Rio, Brazil.

Valve unveiled it’s Operation Shattered web in November 2019, since then we have seen the aesthetic factor in the gameplay a larger role along with the Weapon skins and Gloves. The hype for these agent skins came out to be short-lived when some professional players started to criticize about the problematic cases where some enemy models who had these Agent skins equipped were tough to locate on the map. In the community and the pro scene as well, there are some players who are colour blind where the later makes it tough for them to analyze the map layout for spotting the opposition.

Today Counter-Strike Professional Players’ Association (CSPPA) on their twitter did give the go-ahead for the same after they had been informed about the approval of equipping Agent Skins.

Earlier Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer on his twitter had tagged CSPPA when he did question the later with the same query.

If by any chance Valve fails to take this hassle under its consideration, we might witness the competitive integrity of the major go haywire. The aftermath would then witness all the players coming forward and sign an agreement for not using those particular agent skins. This same kind of solution had been bought to effect in the PGL Kraków Major 2017 where the Crouch Jump spot bug at the Banana in Inferno was allowed as it was a “Legal Mechanic.
