Arc Raiders has now sold over 16 million copies worldwide, publisher Nexon confirmed in its Q1 2026 earnings report. The game sold 4.6 million units in Q1 2026 alone, reaching 15.5 million by the end of the quarter before crossing the 16 million mark. That makes it the most successful new product release in Nexon’s company history.
The game launched on October 30, 2025, at $39.99 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
By the Numbers
Arc Raiders, together with other new Nexon releases, drove year-over-year revenue growth of 188% to ¥59.3 billion, roughly $409 million, in Q1 2026.
Engagement figures back up the sales numbers. More than half of all active players have already spent over 100 hours in the game, and total playtime has exceeded 1.5 billion hours. Nexon also confirmed that Arc Raiders has consistently ranked among Steam’s most played games.
Nexon’s overseas revenue surged 59%, setting a new record, with revenue in North America and Europe more than quadrupling year-over-year, driven largely by Arc Raiders.
China Expansion in Progress
Nexon confirmed that Arc Raiders has secured ISBN approval in China and is preparing for multiple closed beta tests in 2026 through publisher Tencent. An ISBN is required by China’s State Administration of Press and Publication before a game can officially operate and generate revenue in mainland China.
The next major update is called Frozen Trail. It is set to release in October and promises to be the biggest update since launch, featuring the largest map to date, new ARC enemies, progression systems, skill tree improvements, items, and more.
Frozen Trail will introduce new goals and more ways to shape Raider progression for players who have already hit the skill point ceiling. It will also begin exploring the origins of ARC, giving players their first real look at the game’s larger mystery.
New ARC machine enemy designs and behavior patterns will also be introduced, adding new combat variables.
Nexon said the update is aimed at pulling back players who finished the original content, as well as attracting new ones.
As for what comes after Arc Raiders, Nexon’s earnings report contained a brief but notable detail. Two new games from Embark Studios are currently in early development and will take several years to be ready. No names or genres were given.
