2XKO is all set to go into early access, a major milestone towards the entry of Riot Games into the fighting game genre.
2XKO will become available in early access on October 7, 2025, at 8:00 AM PT (8:30 PM IST) and will be available for global players to play without the need for invites. The free-to-play fighting title will become available only on PC via the Riot Client initially, but its console versions are expected to be released later on.
The early access release is a turning point for Riot Games, moving from closed test phases to public release. In contrast to earlier beta phases, every accomplishment gained in early access will be transferred to the full game release, allowing players to retain their unlocked champions, cosmetics, and achievements.
The early access release will correspond with the Season 0 kickoff, featuring significant new features and content. Tom Cannon, Executive Producer, highlighted this period as being essential in setting the stage for the long-term vision of catering to the Fighting Game Community for generations ahead.
