Where to Find Prickly Pear in Arc Raiders

With the first Arc Raiders Expedition recently departing, players are already hard at work gathering the materials they need to upgrade their Scrappy to the max level once again, following the inventory wipe. The Prickly Pear is one of the many materials that you’ll need to upgrade your Scrappy in Arc Raiders, but it’s quite a rare find in the game if you don’t know where exactly to look for it.

For the uninitiated, upgrading your Scrappy in Arc Raiders enables you to farm basic materials like Metal Parts and Fabric passively at a rapid pace, with each level you put into your rooster further improving its gathering speed. Combine that with the 6% bonus Scrappy speed that you get upon participating in an Expedition, and you’ll never run short of Metal Parts again.

In this guide, we’ll take a look at the best locations to find Prickly Pears in Arc Raiders.

Arc Raiders Prickly Pear Locations

While you can find Prickly Pears in almost any map in Arc Raiders, we recommend sticking to Buried City and Dam Battlegrounds to have an easier time finding them.

To consistently find Prickly Pear in Arc Raiders, all you need to do is keep an eye out for any cacti plants you come across and simply scan the ground around them for these fruits. Note that there is no guaranteed spawn for Prickly Pear in the game, so you may occasionally find no Pears despite searching a cactus patch thoroughly. On the other hand, it’s not uncommon for players to find three to four Prickly Pears around a single cactus patch.

We’ve listed the best locations to find Prickly Pears in both Dam Battlegrounds and Buried City below.

Another useful tip to find Prickly Pears in Arc Raiders is to look out for the Lush Blooms map modifier. During the event, you’ll be able to find fruit baskets scattered throughout the maps that contain Prickly Pear alongside other useful materials like Mushrooms, Lemons, Apricots, and Olives, all of which you’ll need to upgrade your Scrappy.
