How to Get Fortnite on iPhone? (Updated 2025)

After a long-lasting legal drama between Apple and Epic Games, Fortnite is returning to iPhones, and it’s right on track to be the most popular game on the App Store. If you are one of those who have been waiting for the game for 5 years, then your wait is over.

Before leaving the App Store, Fortnite was the most popular game among iPhone users. Now that it is returning to the small screen, Genshin Impact needs to watch out. Fortnite will be released across the board for all iOS devices worldwide, except the United Kingdom.

Players in the USA can download the game directly from the App Store, while others have to go through an elongated process of downloading the Epic Games app from the App Store and downloading the game through the Application.

When it comes to Fortnite, it is one of the more optimised games on the App Store, and with the rising number of iOS users, the game is bound to get more popular, and we might as well see a full-fledged esports scene come out of it.

Legacy To Replace BESTIA in BLAST.tv Austin Major

Legacy will replace BESTIA at the upcoming BLAST Austin Major 2025, the tournament organizers revealed in an announcement.

For the uninitiated, the BLAST Austin Major 2025, which is scheduled to kick off on June 2nd, will see 32 elite Counter-Strike 2 teams battle it out for the lion’s share of a $1,250,000 USD prize pool. The event will feature two weeks of intense competitive CS, with the teams competing in front of a live audience at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, for the playoffs.

As per the official statement from BLAST, BESTIA was unable to secure the required number of US Visas to field a sufficient number of eligible players, ultimately forcing the team to withdraw from the event.

As a result, the Argentinian org will be replaced by the Brazilian team Legacy. BLAST has confirmed that Legacy has managed to obtain all necessary travel documentation for its players.

Having finished as the runners-up of the South American MRQ’s single-elimination bracket, Legacy secured its spot at the Major as BESTIA’s replacement.

CS2 fans will be able to see Legacy take on Lynn Vision for their opening match of the Austin Major 2025 on the official Twitch and YouTube handles of BLAST.

How to Bind NOCLIP in CS2?

NOCLIP is one of the underrated commands in CS2 that comes in handy when you are practicing. While the command itself is simple, there are several steps you need to follow before you can use it.

Goes without saying that No Clip cannot be used on official servers, and its usability is limited only to custom and locally operated offline maps. While it is widely used for practicing nades, trying out new setups, and getting a holistic view of the map, knowing how to use it will never be in vain, even if you are a casual player.

How to Bind NOCLIP in CS2

Before you go ahead and put it in the console, there are a few steps to be overcome before we can get it up and running. The steps are as follows:

  • Given that you have your developer console enabled, type in  sv_cheats 1.
  • Once  sv_cheats 1 is enabled, put in bind “key “noclip”. (Replace “key” with the key of your choice)
  • Now you have successfully assigned noclip to a key of your choice that you can use in custom servers.

NOCLIP lets you float around the map without having to run around the map, thus consuming a lot of time during your practice sessions. Criminally underrated and surprisingly handy, once you get to using it, this is bound to save time.

What Is Black Ops 6 Zombies Grief Mode?

0

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is reviving a beloved feature with its Season 4 update on May 29, 2025, the return of Grief mode for Zombies. Introduced in Black Ops 2, Grief mode was a fan favorite twist on the classic co-op zombie survival experience. Now, more than a decade later, the mode is back with major upgrades and a competitive twist that reimagines how players interact with the undead.

Unlike the standard cooperative model in which players work together to kill waves of zombies, Grief mode creates a team vs. team situation. There are two groups of four players in the same zombie-filled arena, and while they cannot hurt each other directly, they can get in each other’s way in passive-aggressive ways. Body-blocking, melee fights to impede opponents’ progress, and using guns to cause distractions are all permitted. You have to be the last team that hasn’t fallen. If the four players of a team are eliminated, they lose the game. If a team gets wiped out, they will be resurrected after three rounds, hoping to have a chance at a comeback.

Black Ops 6 Zombies Grief Mode

To spice things up further, Grief mode features Capture Zones that spawn during the match. Teams that venture into these zones and accumulate enough kills can create a “Grief” effect, which places a temporary debuff on the other team. If neither team controls the zone quickly enough, both teams are penalized. These Grief effects are different and bring a strategic element to the game. For example, the Weapon Nerf drastically minimizes how much damage a team can inflict on zombies, while the Ammo Drain slowly drains ammunition from every weapon, even those not being used.

Another version, Zombie Ambush, calls in a highly damaging elite zombie that attacks only the enemy team until defeated or a timer runs out. There’s Weapon Carousel, which interchanges players’ weapons randomly every few seconds, and Frozen, which slows down movement speed and freezes characters.

Maps employed in Grief mode are all sourced from current Zombies content, but are strategically split into smaller arenas to keep opposing teams close together. Doors unlock automatically, power is activated, and any gameplay item or machinery that is not natively present in the arena will become visible in new places.

Liberty Falls, for instance, has two separate arenas: one has the Pump & Pay, Motor Lodge, and Fuller’s Liberty Lanes, while the other has the Dark Aether Church, Cemetery, and Hilltop. In the same way, other fields cover Terminus, Citadelle des Morts, The Tomb, and Shattered Veil, each with several zones full of strategic significance and familiar points of reference.

Microsoft’s Upcoming Handheld Xbox Console to Feature Custom AMD Chipset

0

In a major bid to strengthen its gaming business, Microsoft is said to be working on a handheld Xbox console that will be powered by a custom low-power APU designed by AMD. The move reflects Microsoft’s effort to grow its gaming ecosystem and compete in the emerging handheld gaming space.

Based on a leak on the NeoGAF forums from user KeplerL2, the device will have a custom AMD processor that is designed for handheld gaming. Although some technical information is not specified, the custom chip is likely to ensure higher compatibility with many Xbox games, alleviating worries over backward compatibility as a result of previous rumors that the architecture would be based on ARM.

This follows Microsoft’s move to ready itself for the rumored release of its new-generation console in 2027 to compete against Sony’s speculated PlayStation 6. The handheld console is part of Microsoft’s bigger plan to provide gamers with cross-platform, flexible gaming experiences.

Meanwhile, Asus will be launching its Xbox-branded handheld, the ROG Ally 2, which has recently surfaced in FCC filings. The device, which is codenamed “Project Kennan,” has a unique black appearance with its own Xbox button, separating it from the white standard one. The black one comes with an 8-core AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor and 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM, while the white one contains a 4-core AMD Aeirth Plus processor and 16GB of RAM. Both devices have a 7-inch, 120Hz LCD screen and better ergonomic grips.

Though the Asus ROG Ally 2 is powered by Windows 11, which grants access to Xbox PC apps and services such as Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft’s internal handheld will likely integrate a more holistic Xbox experience. The custom AMD processor may allow for reduced-gameplay latency across Xbox games, improving performance and user experience.

With the market for handheld gaming expanding, Microsoft’s introduction of a proprietary AMD-powered product represents a strategic broadening of its gaming platform. Additional information, such as the formal launch date and price point, is expected to be announced in the near future.

How To Use Melee Weapons in Black Ops 6

0

One of the most frequently asked questions among Black Ops 6 players, especially those who are new to the game, is how to use melee weapons in BO6.

Unlike most other Call of Duty titles, using a melee weapon in BO6 is a bit less intuitive, which is why players might struggle to pull out their knives in the heat of battle.

Because of the default control settings in Black Ops 6, attempting to melee usually results in a basic gun butt attack, which doesn’t deliver a one-shot kill. This can certainly be frustrating in situations where you’re looking to secure a sneaky kill on an enemy with your knife.

If you’re struggling to use your knife in BO6, you’ve come to the right place. In this guide, we’ll show you how you can use your melee weapon in BO6 and take down your opponents in one hit.

How To Use Melee Weapons in BO6

How To Use Melee Weapons in Black Ops 6

By default, the melee weapon in BO6 is tied to a ‘hold’ input, meaning you need to hold down the melee button—“V” on PC or the right analog stick on console—to equip your knife.

Luckily, BO6 enables players to change their input preferences in the game settings.

If you don’t want to hold down your melee button every time you’re looking to pull out your knife, all you need to do is change the input mode from the settings.

Here’s how you can have a much easier time equipping your melee weapon in BO6:

  • Launch Black Ops 6
  • Go to the Settings menu.
  • Select your preferred input device.
  • Head to the ‘Combat’ tab.
  • Change the “Dedicated Melee Weapon Activation” setting to either Weapon Cycle or Dedicated Keybind.

If you choose ‘Weapon Cycle,’ the melee weapon will automatically be added to your weapon rotation, while using ‘Dedicated Keybind’ will enable you to set a specific keybind from the ‘Keybinds’ section to pull out your knife. Note that the latter is only available for use on PC.

Twitch Revenue Hits “All-Time Low” as Streamers Switch to Kick

Twitch has been bleeding streamers for a long time now as competition from KICK toughens up. This has been readily apparent in the drop in Twitch advertisement revenue, which has hit an “all-time low.”

Reports suggest that Twitch has been losing companies that were bringing in a big chunk of advertising revenue. In addition to this, streamers are also losing potential revenue after streaming on multiple platforms at once. Having the same creator on both platforms gives users less motivation to switch websites and has been a big reason why Twitch is suffering with the emergence of KICK.

“Ad revenue is at an all-time low,” said Knut. “It’s not down to zero, this (graphic) is a little bit overdone, this is a little bit exaggerated. It isn’t cut down to 10%, but it is down.

“I talked to Mizkif about it yesterday as well, and he said he looked at his and when he saw his dashboard, his ad revenue compared to before is so s*it. But it’s good that we have KICK as well that we can help us.”

Although multi-streaming on KICK slashes the revenue down to 50%, having the flexibility of viewership across both platforms keeps creators from sticking to one. Multi-streaming is becoming more and more popular, and unless Twitch can lock in a few content creators exclusively to their platform, it is difficult to see them retain their throne as the most popular video game streaming platform.

Fortnite Returns to Apple App Store After Legal Victory

0

Epic Games’ Fortnite has successfully returned to the Apple App Store in the United States. The reinstatement came following a landmark federal court ruling that opposes Apple’s long-standing App Store practices, especially regarding in-app payment systems.

In August 2020, Epic Games added a direct payment feature to Fortnite, bypassing Apple’s in-app purchasing mechanism that charged a commission of 30% on all transactions. The action resulted in Fortnite’s removal from the App Store, and Epic sued Apple for monopolistic behavior.

The fight in court ended in a 2021 decision in which Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers ruled Apple’s anti-steering clauses, prohibitions against developers from sending users to other payment options, were against California’s Unfair Competition Law. Apple was not declared a monopolist, but the court required it to permit developers to include links for payments outside of the App Store.

Regardless of the ruling, Apple’s follow-up compliance efforts were not well received. Apple implemented a 27% commission on third-party transactions and made use of “scare screens” in an attempt to deter customers from using alternate payment options. In response, Judge Rogers charged Apple with intentionally violating the injunction and referred it for possible criminal contempt sanctions.

Fortnite’s Reinstatement and Apple’s Response

Fortnite Returns to Apple App Store After Legal Victory

In April 2025, Apple gave the go-ahead for Fortnite’s return to the App Store under judicial pressure. The move was welcomed by Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney as a triumph for consumers and developers pushing for fair competition. Apple, however, has strongly disagreed with the court ruling and has appealed, seeking to reverse the ruling.

The ruling has far-reaching implications beyond Fortnite. Developers are now in a position to incorporate alternate payment systems into their apps, hopefully earning more of their revenue that was otherwise taken by Apple’s commissions. This change might lead other leading players like Spotify and Netflix to seek out alternate paths for in-app payments as well.

Additionally, the ruling could affect Apple’s partnerships with other technology companies. Microsoft, for one, has pointed to Apple’s restrictive measures as an obstacle to the opening of its Xbox mobile store, highlighting the wider industry implications of the court’s directive.

In Europe, the Digital Markets Act (DMA) has forced Apple to enable alternative app stores and payment systems on its devices. Epic Games has used this law to distribute Fortnite via third-party app stores in the EU, further testing Apple’s grip on app distribution and monetization.
