Mazy Discusses Team X Spark’s Struggles in BGMI India-Korea Invitational

0

Zishan “Mazy” Alam, one of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 and Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) India-Korea Invitational casters, recently discussed Team X Spark’s lackluster performance in India-Korea Invitational. Mazy stated that  the constant shuffling of the team’s roster was the main culprit behind it.

Mazy Believes Roster Shuffle Disrupted Team X Spark’s Performance in BGMI India-Korea Invitational

Fan-favorite Team X Spark, which had shown commendable performance in Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023, faced a challenging journey at the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) India-Korea Invitational. The team’s lackluster performance placed them in the 16th position on the overall leaderboard.

During the three days of intense competition, Team X Spark made some significant roster changes. On the first day, they benched Tushar “DreamS” Jain and instead, Tanmay “ScoutOP” Singh took his place. The following day, Dreams was back in the lineup, replacing Scout. On the final day, Aditya Mathe found himself on the bench, and Scout once again stepped in.

In a recent livestream, Mazy was asked about Team X Spark’s performance and the potential reasons behind it. Responding to this, Mazy stated that the team was well aware of what went wrong. He highlighted that in the BGIS 2023 Grand Finals, the team secured a total of 88 finishes. Of these 88 finishes, Sarang accounted for 27 finishes, Dreams accounted for 22 finishes, and Aditya and Pukar collectively accounted for the remaining 39 finishes. “You benched the second-highest fragger, and you can’t build synergy that fast. They needed practice. If you are playing at such a high level, you can’t perform without practice,” he added.

Mazy explained that Team X Spark lost their momentum due to the roster changes, and making a comeback proved to be a daunting challenge to them.

NBA 2K24 Season 2: How to Unlock Rebirth 2.0?

0

NBA 2K24 Season 2 has introduced an exciting new feature for players: Rebirth 2.0. This enhanced version of the original Rebirth offers even better rewards and incentives, especially for those grinding in MyCAREER mode. With Rebirth 2.0, players can ensure their new builds are top-notch with minimal effort and Virtual Currency (VC) expenditure.

Here’s your guide on how to unlock Rebirth 2.0 and the bountiful rewards that come with it.

How to Unlock Rebirth 2.0 in NBA 2K24 Season 2?

To access Rebirth 2.0, players must first align themselves with an Affiliation in The City, followed by achieving the Veteran 2 REP level. NBA 2K24 presents two Affiliations: RISE and ELITE. While both have their unique perks, ELITE stands out with its permanent Scoring boost, making it a preferable choice for many. To expedite your REP level progression, engage in as many games as possible, whether in your career or The City. Additionally, official Affiliation membership grants extra REP. However, reaching the Veteran 2 REP level is a journey, requiring players to climb through various preceding REP levels.

Veteran 2 is the third-highest REP level in NBA 2K24, demanding dedication and time from players. Before attaining this rank, you must navigate through several other REP levels, each serving as a stepping stone toward your goal.

The most notable reward of Rebirth 2.0 is the ability to instantly upgrade your new builds to a 99 Overall Rating (OVR), bypassing the usual time-consuming and VC-intensive process. This feature ensures that your MyPLAYER is in prime condition right from the start. In addition to this major perk, completing the Rebirth 2.0 Quest also unlocks various other rewards, further enhancing your NBA 2K24 experience.

How to Get Your Twitch Account Unbanned After a Perma-Ban?

0

Twitch has recently updated its appeal and enforcement systems, introducing a significant change that allows permanently banned streamers to apply for account reinstatement after six months. This move marks a pivotal shift in Twitch’s approach to moderation and offers a glimmer of hope for creators who have found themselves indefinitely suspended from the platform.

Streamers Can Appeal After Six Months

Previously, a permanent ban on Twitch was just that—permanent, with no room for appeal. However, with the new policy in place, streamers who got banned permanently now have the opportunity to appeal for restoration six months after their ban. It is important to note that this policy does not apply to all offenses, particularly those involving violence, threats, and other severe or illegal activities.

The streaming community has witnessed several high-profile permanent bans over the years, including popular figures like Adin Ross, Dr Disrespect, and IShowSpeed. While IShowSpeed’s account was reinstated in October 2023 after nearly two years, this new policy opens the door for others to potentially return to the platform. To initiate the appeal process, affected users can visit the Twitch appeals dashboard and follow the guidance provided on the support page.

This change in policy raises several questions about the future of moderation on Twitch. Is this a move towards a more fair and rehabilitative approach, giving streamers a second chance to learn from their mistakes? Or could it potentially pave the way for problematic content creators to return to the platform, undermining the integrity of Twitch’s community standards?

EA Drops Support For Windows 7, 8 On Star Wars, Battlefield Games

0

Electronic Arts (EA) has officially announced the discontinuation of support for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems in three of its popular game titles: Battlefield V, Battlefield 1, and Star Wars: Battlefront II (2017). This change is set to take effect on November 30, marking a significant shift for players who are still using older Windows hardware.

EA’s decision to end support for these older operating systems is rooted in its commitment to providing a secure and optimal gaming experience. Microsoft had previously ceased providing security updates and support for Windows 7 in 2020, and for Windows 8 and 8.1 in 2021. Without these critical updates, the integrity and functionality of the games can no longer be guaranteed on these platforms.

While the affected games have been out for several years and are nearing the end of their lifecycles, they still maintain active player communities. This move by EA underscores a broader technological transition in the gaming industry, as support for older operating systems continues to dwindle. Players using the affected operating systems will need to upgrade to a newer version of Windows to continue enjoying these titles.

EA is not alone in phasing out support for older Windows versions. Earlier this year, Epic Games ended support for Windows 7 and 8 in Fortnite, citing similar security concerns. Valve has also announced that Steam will stop supporting Windows 7 and 8 starting January 1, 2024. These changes reflect a broader industry trend toward ensuring security and performance by encouraging users to adopt newer operating systems.

xQc claims MrBeast’s videos are “scripted”

0

xQc is the latest content creator to point fingers at the biggest independent content creator on YouTube, i.e. MrBeast for putting up scripted videos in light of recent controversy.

MrBeast is known for hosting crazy challenges in his videos and said challenges were the face of his online content that helped him garner a legion of fans however, claims have surfaced that the videos are scripted. xQc’s statement follows claims made by fellow content creator Rosanna Pansino who believes the Creator Gamers 3 video was edited to alter the outcome of the event.

xQc has doubled down on the claims made by Pansino and advised his audience to “get out” if they ever find themselves on the final stage of any MrBeast challenge as they are usually scripted and misrepresented.

“Chat… Guys, if you get selected to be in MrBeast’s video, I got you,” xQc began, before sharing with viewers his “number one tip.” “If you can get out, get out. Okay?” he said. “MrBeast’s endgames are so scripted and dumb. The dumbest s**t happens, just f****** go home, dude.” xQc added, “If you weren’t in on the script, okay, you’re done. Go home, dude.”

According to recent reports, Pansino has retracted her statement following death threats. She took to X to publicly apologize to MrBeast and acknowledge that she should have done it in a private manner. However, this happened before xQc came in with his own take on MrBeast and unlike Pansino, he is a big shot who can take on MrBeast.

MrBeast hasn’t addressed the issue publicly but now that xQc is involved we are in for a lot of drama and things will take a more interesting turn for sure in the future.
