CS2 Player Abuses Economy Loophole in Tournament

Counter-Strike has been around for decades, and it is not a surprise that players are finding loopholes in the game. Controversy has surrounded RUSH B player tex1y, who disconnects right before the round ends to avoid a loss bonus.

RUSB B faced FAVBET in the opening game of CCT Season 2 Europe Series 20 Closed Qualifier, where the map saw tex1y disconnecting right before the round’s end to prevent receiving a zero loss bonus. In a sense, this takes advantage of the CS economic system and breaches section 7.1.11 of the CCT code, which forbids disconnections without a good cause.

Despite being illegal yet creative thinking, tex1y’s antics did not lead to his team winning as it was FAVBET who progressed into the next round of the tournament. Despite this, RUSH B has been warned, and along with condemning the actions of tex1y, they have promised to take disciplinary measures.

Knowing such actions are illegal, tex1y acted boldly, but the whole team now finds themselves on the receiving end of the backlash.

Twitch to Introduce TikTok Like Streams Soon

0

Twitch’s CEO has laid out plans for 2025. Remember that new mobile app they rolled out last August? To improve the viewing experience on smartphones, Twitch has decided to introduce a TikTok-style vertical feed. However, the community doesn’t seem to be happy with it at least for now.

Dan Clancy, Twitch’s CEO claimed that he is aware of the backlash, and he revealed that Twitch is trying a new feature that will let the streamers stream vertically. In a blog post, Clancy talked about wanting to make it easier for viewers to find stuff to watch while still helping streamers grow their communities.

According to Twitch, the Discovery and Clips feeds on the mobile app should be a win-win for everyone. To make that happen, they’re adding a feature that lets streamers provide both landscape and vertical video.

If you’re watching on your phone in portrait mode, you’ll see the vertical video. If you flip it to landscape, you’ll get the standard horizontal stream. It will be as simple as that.

In the middle of the year, we will be adding the ability to provide both landscape and vertical video through Enhanced Broadcasting and will integrate the vertical video source into the mobile app depending upon the orientation of the phone.

Will Twitch be able to implement it well this time? What do you think of this major change? Let us know in the comment section below.

New Legend for Apex Legends Season 25 Leaked

0

Apex Legends Season 25 is on the horizon and with all the leaks surfacing, it is shaping up to be interesting. In this article, we will discuss the latest leaks that might come true with the release of Apex Legends Season 25.

Players are understandably excited about releasing a new Agent especially when one hasn’t made it to the game in quite a while. If the leaks are true, we might be looking at Xenia Contreras debuting in no further than Season 25.

Popular dataminer, Luwtage suggests that Xenia Contreras will be debuting this season itself and further elaborated about her abilities which are quite interesting to begin with. According to Luwtage, Xenia Contreras comes with traps that deal damage to whoever steps on along with a footstep indicator that points toward approaching enemies.

So far, the leaks are promising and Contreras might turn out to be quite a deadly agent. While nothing can be confirmed until the update actually arrives it won’t be wrong to have your hopes high with Season 25.

Fortnite OG Ranked Zero Build Servers Shutting Down

0

Fortnite’s OG Ranked Zero Build servers are getting the axe. Starting March 4th, they’re pulling the plug on a bunch of servers, which, let’s be honest, is a bit of a downer. This comes right after the launch of Chapter 6 Season 2, which, by all accounts, is doing pretty well. New locations, fresh loot – the usual Fortnite shake-up. But it seems some of the side modes aren’t quite keeping up.

Landed on January 31st, and it was a hit. Nostalgia trip for the old-timers, getting to blast with those classic weapons again, like the Zapotron. And for the newbies, a chance to see what all the fuss was about back in the day, exploring those old maps. It was a good time.

But, here’s the kicker: Epic Games put out a tweet saying they’re shutting down the OG Ranked Zero Build servers due to “matchmaking health.” Now, they’re keeping the EU and NAC servers alive until the end of OG Season 2 on March 25th, and they’re even telling players from other regions to switch over, with no penalty. Still, it’s a bummer for those who’ve been grinding away, building up their rank.

Naturally, the community’s buzzing about this. “Matchmaking health,” right? That’s code for “not enough people playing.” And you can’t blame them for jumping to conclusions. Fortnite OG’s launch was massive, hitting over a million players in no time. But, let’s be real, OG Ranked Zero Build is a niche within a niche. It’s not surprising it didn’t pull in the same numbers. It’s a shame, but that’s how it goes.
