ESIC Bans Ganginho for Placing Bets

Ilya “Ganginho” Chernychenko, a former Sangal and TNL player, has been banned for three years by the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) after a thorough investigation into corruption and betting infractions.

According to a report, proof of 390 Counter-Strike wagers was made using accounts directly connected to Ganginho that have generated winnings totaling approximately $20,000. In his betting activities, the Ukrainian placed “significant bets” on TNL games, which he played from May to October 2024.

“It was a great time that gave me a lot of great people,” he stated in his retirement post on X back in October. “But life is so fast that you can’t dwell on one thing, and you need to be able to take the next step.”

The reporter further stated that this period will restrict him from taking part in ESIC-partnered events, not only as a player but as a coach, caster, and any related positions. His involvement in professional CS2 events will be limited to non-ESIC events, but they are few and far between, which essentially concludes his career.

A three-year hiatus is a death sentence for a CS career, and while it is technically not impossible to make a comeback, we have not seen anyone revive their career following a ban of this stature.

ESIC’s imposing strict restrictions will build on the integrity of the existing community, given the rise of dubious players in recent times. With strict guidelines for players, the community will be clean moving forward. From the coaching scandal to gambling, ESIC’s continuous efforts have made sure the esports environment remains as clean as possible, and as things stand, they are doing a stellar job at it.

Fortnite Reload Update Brings Loot Pool Changes

0

The game’s main content wasn’t much altered by the most recent Fortnite update, but there were several adjustments made to the Fortnite Reload loot pool. The available pool has seen some significant changes that might see a change in the dynamics of the game.

Fortnite Reload has generated more interest in players, given that it provides fresh dynamics far from what the other game modes offer. Reload offers a fun way to enjoy the game while bringing retro items from the past.

While Fortnite offers a plethora of game modes, Reload has produced unexpected success for Epic Games. The perfect blend of modern and retro has induced nostalgic vibes within the players who miss the previous seasons.

Bringing changes to the game keeps the vibe fresh while keeping players hooked in a game mode away from the competitive settings. Despite being a side project, it is nice to see EPIC drop updates to keep players engaged despite making subtle changes.

Fortnite Reload Loot Pool Changes

Vaulted

  • Havoc Suppressed AR
  • Heavy AR
  • Mammoth Pistols
  • Suppressed Pistol
  • Charge Shotgun
  • Maven Auto Shotgun
  • Suppressed SMG

Unvaulted

  • Crash Pad Jr
  • Combat AR
  • Infantry Rifle
  • Prime Shotgun
  • Infiltrator Pump Shotgun
  • Revolver
  • Heavy Sniper Rifle
  • Tactical SMG
  • Kinetic Blade

While some may like the new changes, others may not. It is truly hard to tell what changes will sit right with the crowd, but refreshing the pool will make the game mode more fun than usual, especially when people come to enjoy retro items.

Fortnite Resident Evil Skins Revealed

0

Resident Evil has been one of the most iconic PC games, and Epic wasted no time collaborating with it, giving some of the most iconic Fortnite skins of all time,e but as time has passed, said skins have become a rare commodity. Since its release, the skins have not returned, but fans have kept their hopes high.

While those skins are in popular demand, we cannot say for sure why Epic has chosen not to bring them back more frequently, given we haven’t had a chance to get them in quite a while, making them quite the collectibles.

Suffice it to say that these skins are closely guarded by EPIC, and whether it is to jack up the price, it is hard to speculate. The skins were last seen on April 24th, 2023, and being more than 2 years away from the market, fans are willing to pay quite the premium to bag them.

Skins

  • Chris Redfield
  • Leon Kennedy
  • Jill Valentine
  • Claire Redfield

At the moment, we have these four skins, and we might see more get added with the launch of new RE games. As things stand, we have little to no clue of when they might be back, making it difficult to have hopes. Keeping an eye out for them would be difficult given the absence of a release window, but it won’t be too optimistic to expect them to come back to the game with the release of a new RE game.

Even if EPIC decides to bring it back, not all the skins will be available together, thus reducing your chances of getting the skin you are looking for. Narrowing down the possibilities is entirely up to your luck.

Who Is the Magneto Voice Actor in Marvel Rivals?

Marvel Rivals has been very popular since its launch in December 2024. It has already started competing with the Overwatch 2. There are a lot of players in the game who love to play with Magneto as the character is one of the most popular in the game. However, do you know who is the voice actor of Magneto in Marvel Rivals? Magneto’s voice actor is none other than James Arnold Taylor, the popular American veteran voice actor.

Who is James Arnold Taylor?

James Arnold Taylor is no stranger to the world of voice acting. He is best known for voicing Obi-Wan Kenobi in various Star Wars animated series and video games, as well as Ratchet in the popular Ratchet & Clank franchise. His ability to bring depth and intensity to characters makes him a perfect fit for Magneto.

James Arnold Taylor is an American voice actor known for his work in animation, video games, and commercials. He has also provided voices for numerous iconic characters across different franchises. Apart from voice acting, Taylor has worked as a writer and producer. Moreover, he also wrote the book JAT 365: 365 Inspirations for the Pursuit of Your Dreams.

This isn’t Taylor’s first time voicing Magneto. He has previously portrayed the character in several Marvel video games, including Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth, Marvel Heroes, and Marvel Powers United VR. Apart from that, he has voiced characters in countless animated series, including Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Avengers Assemble, and The Fairly OddParents. His return as the Master of Magnetism in Marvel Rivals ensures consistency and familiarity for long-time fans of the character.

Magneto is a mutant leader with the power to manipulate metal. With his rich voice-acting experience and deep understanding of the character, James Arnold Taylor’s voice seems to be perfect for the character.

Counter-Strike Star GuardiaN Hangs up His Mouse

Legendary sniper Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács has announced his retirement from the world of competitive Counter-Strike after spending almost two decades at the game’s upper echelons and cementing himself as one of the best AWPers of all time.

Although his retirement came in the colors of BC.Games, guardiaN’s fame erupted during his time with Natus Vincere and FaZe Clan. Being part of two iconic CS:GO rosters, guardiaN remains one of the most decorated players of the game despite the major eluding him on several occasions.

Besides going down as one of the greatest ever, guardiaN has failed to win a tier-1 trophy after 2019. 5 years since his last tournament win, guardiaN spent his time across several lesser-known rosters, which concluded his time in tier-1 CS.

“I’m not sad, I’ve done everything I could in esports. I’ve been to Majors, I’ve been to Major finals, I’ve won tournaments, I had amazing teams[…] I’ve done it all. I don’t have a Major trophy, but that’s not all it takes to be happy.”

Starting his professional career with CS 1.6, guardiaN garnered global recognition playing for NAVI. Following his success with the Russian side, he joined the FaZe experimental superteam, which failed to win a major but did bring home several notable honors like IEM Syndey, ESL One New York, and more.

While it is sad to see him go, we can’t do anything but accept that his time has come. Goes without saying that we will miss him as he will forever remain one of the icons of the game.

How to Run Marvel Rivals as Administrator?

Developed by NetEase Games, Marvel Rivals is a free-to-play, third-person hero shooter game that was released back in December 2024. It is currently available on every major platform including PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. It is a new game and every new game gets thorns along the way as it starts improving. Marvel Rivals is not an exception.

While playing Marvel Rivals on PC, sometimes the game doesn’t open or crashes randomly. To run the game smoothly, you need to run the game as an administrator. It will grant the game the necessary permissions for several functionalities.

In this article, we will explain how to run Marvel Rivals as an Administrator on your Windows PC.

How to Get Units in Marvel Rivals?

One of Marvel Rivals’ two primary currencies, Units, may be used to purchase a wide range of items for your characters. Units are the only form of currency in the game that can be obtained without real currencies being involved and are naturally hard to earn. In this article, we will discuss all the ways you can earn Units in Marvel Rivals.

As a game, Marvel Rivals is on the rise, and while it may not be a competitive game like Valorant or CS, it is quite fun to play, especially for Marvel fans. In-game characters are essentially heroes from the Marvel Universe, and each one of them has several skins that you can purchase with Units.

Unit rewards. Photo via Marvel Rivals.

Here is how you can obtain units:

  • Completing achievement tracks
  • Finishing in-game events
  • Converting Lattice to Units
  • Completing Battle Pass missions

Goes without saying that converting Lattice to Unit is the easiest way to get Units, and Marvel Rivals offers a generous conversion ratio of $ 1=1 Lattice. 1 Lattice can be traded for 100 units, which, upon conversion, can be used to get anything you desire.

While Lattice may have a good conversion ratio, the price of most skins seems quite expensive considering the game market. Suffice it to say that the game offers a plethora of ways to get skins but not always the ones you desire.

More often than not, the game offers skins and bundles at a rebate, so waiting for the skins is one of the options worth considering. However, this is a long shot, given you do not know which bundle/skins will go at a discount price at what point.

As things stand, if you are in the market for a particular skin with a time constraint, getting Lattice is your only option or you can grind and wait till you have accumulated enough Units to buy the skins that you are looking to buy.

Vavle Releases VRS Update for March 2025

With qualification relying on VRS for tier-1 tournaments, Valve has wasted no time in updating the regional standings for the top sides. Following complaints by teams in the past, Valve has amended their policy as we get the VRS update only after tournaments conclude in the past month.

Several upcoming tier-1 tournaments are reliant on VRS to invite teams. Tier-1 tournaments like BLAST Rivals and PGL Astana are to take into account the VRS for March, given their kick-off in April, and having the updated VRS confirms the list of teams who are bound to get a spot in the aforementioned competitions.

The upcoming months will have little room for the teams to get some practice time, given the jam-packed tournament schedules. Having the VRS update early on not only helps the organizers, but teams can have a fair idea of which ones to skip beforehand to keep their minds and playbook fresh for the coming months of competitive Counter-Strike.

VRS For March

  1. Spirit – 1963
  2. Vitality – 1939
  3. The MongolZ – 1885
  4. MOUZ – 1874
  5. FaZe – 1839
  6. Falcons – 1830
  7. Eternal Fire – 1809
  8. G2 – 1781
  9. Natus Vincere – 1751
  10. Astralis – 1665
  11. paiN – 1539
  12. Virtus.pro – 1531
  13. GamerLegion – 1497

PGL Astana

  • 12 spots by Global VRS
  • One qualifier each from NA, EU, S,A and Asia

CCT Global Finals

  • Six spots by Europe VRS
  • One spot by NA VRS
  • One spot by SA VRS

MESA Nomadic Masters

  • Two spots by Europe VRS
  • Two spots by Asia VRS
  • Two from the Europe qualifier
  • One from Asian qualifier
  • One from MESA League Season 4

No surprises with the ratings as Team Spirit came into 2025 as the best team powered by their superstar in donk, and they have already picked up a trophy at the Blast Bounty, cementing their place at the top following a stellar Major victory in 2024.

Vitality had challenged for most of the tournaments in 2024 and has continued to do so following the addition of ropz, and winning Katowice in 2025 over Spirit has put them in second place.

The rest of the teams with their high standings in recent tournaments have their place in the list on a pro-rata basis, and this will continue to get updated as we come across more and more tournaments. As for the VRS for March, IEM Katowice and PGL Cluj-Napoca have been the two most important factors, while EPL Season 21 and Blast Lisbon will decide the VRS for April.
