Microsoft has confirmed the first wave of Xbox Game Pass titles for April 2026. The lineup covers 18 games dropping across the first three weeks of the month, with something for most subscriber tiers. Here is everything coming in, and what is leaving on April 15.
Games Available Now
Final Fantasy IV kicked things off on April 7. It is available on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass subscribers. The classic RPG follows Cecil, a dark knight who turns against the Kingdom of Baron alongside Kain the dragoon, Rosa the white mage, and Rydia the summoner.
April 8 to 13
Three games land on April 8.
- DayZ arrives on PC, now joining Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, Game Pass Essential, and PC Game Pass. It is also part of the new Game Pass Essential additions this wave, alongside Warhammer: Vermintide 2 (Cloud and Console), which also hits the Essential tier on April 8.
- Endless Legend 2 (Game Preview) comes to PC on the same day, joining Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and now Game Pass Premium. FBC: Firebreak, a cooperative first-person shooter set inside a federal agency under siege, follows the same model: Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with Game Pass Premium added to the existing Ultimate and PC tiers.
- Planet Coaster 2 lands on April 9 across Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass. On April 10, Tiny Bookshop arrives on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld, and PC under the same tiers.
April 13 brings both editions of Football Manager 26. The standard PC version and the Console edition (Cloud, Console, and PC) both join Game Pass Premium, adding to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
April 14
Three notable games drop on April 14.
- Hades II joins Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass. The roguelike dungeon crawler from Supergiant Games puts players in control of an immortal princess battling the Titan of Time.
- Replaced also launches on April 14 and is available day one with Game Pass. The cyberpunk 2.5D platformer, set in an alternate 1980s America, follows R.E.A.C.H., an AI trapped in a human body. It is available on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
- The Thaumaturge, a character-driven RPG with turn-based combat set in early 20th-century Warsaw, rounds out the April 14 batch. It is available on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass.
April 16 and 17
- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered drops on April 16 on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It now joins Game Pass Premium, adding to the existing Ultimate and PC Game Pass availability. The remaster updates the 2006 title with new visuals and refined gameplay.
- EA Sports NHL 26 also lands on April 16, available on Cloud and Xbox Series X|S for Game Pass Ultimate. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can also grab an EA Play Supercharge Bundle for the game until May 16.
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare arrives on April 17 across Cloud, Console, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass.
April 21 to 23
Three games land on April 21.
- Little Rocket Lab (Cloud, Console, and PC) and Sopa: Tale of the Stolen Potato (Cloud, Console, Handheld, and PC) both join Game Pass Premium on top of their existing Ultimate and PC Game Pass availability.
- Vampire Crawlers is available day one on Game Pass. Developed by the creators of Vampire Survivors, it is a turn-based, card-driven rogue-lite dungeon crawler. It hits Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
The wave closes on April 23 with Kiln, another day-one Game Pass title. The pottery-themed action game arrives on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
Games Leaving on April 15
Five titles are rotating out of Game Pass on April 15. Subscribers can buy them at a 20% discount before they go:
- Ashen (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Grand Theft Auto V (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Terra Invicta (Game Preview) (PC)
GTA V is the most notable departure. Anyone who has not finished it should act before April 15.
