Warzone Season 4 Reloaded is all set to come out on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 9 AM PT (12 PM ET / 5 PM GMT). This aligns with the normal “Reloaded” rhythm, dropping in the middle of the season firmly and coinciding with the standard Thursday drop window.
Let’s take a look at the new weapons:
- Olympia (Double‑Barrel Shotgun)
- This comfortable firepower returns as a mid-season release, famous for its one-shot kill at proximity. While optimized for small maps such as Rebirth Island, its addition—marked as a special gun—reminds players of its Black Ops 3 era.
- Pickaxe (Throwable Melee Weapon)
- A violent addition intended to kill opponents instantly with direct contact. This melee weapon is released alongside the Olympia, providing high-risk, high-reward gameplay in tight spaces.
The Reloaded update also sees weapon conversion kits added to Black Ops 6 (SVD full-auto, TR2 CQB auto), although those are for multiplayer play, not Warzone.
Mode Rotations and Competitive Changes
The competitive Resurgence queue is back on Rebirth Island with its distinct ladder. Players fight for rank-based rewards and advancement, now sharing space with Verdansk’s Battle Royale seasonal ladder.
Resurgence Casual tempers the experience by intermixing real players with AI teammates in 44-player matches. Perfect for chilled gameplay, it’s meant to be welcoming and casual, recalling healthy fan support for relaxed modes.
Apart from that, Havoc Royale LTM is a quickfire, 15-minute Resurgence spin on a small Verdansk map. Every circle brings unexpected modifiers, with real-time strategy adaptation needed to match its chaotic nature.
Gameplay & Field Upgrade Refresh
Most features conceived in the Clash LTM are now fully implemented across modes:
- Search & Destroy Contract — Plant or defuse a bomb at a Buy Station, initiating a Fire Sale and opening up high-tier loot. Active in Royale, Resurgence, and Plunder.
- Care Package Killstreak — A grenade throw delivering specialist perks, unusual equipment, and guns in all modes.
- Door Barricade Field Upgrade — Deployable through the use of Care Packages in BR and Casual BR, providing tactical door locking.
- Hand Cannon Killstreak — Powerful sidearm with low ammo, available through Care Packages for BR, BR Casual, and Plunder.
- Loot Master Perk — Accessible through ground loot in Resurgence and Plunder; doubles loot return from caches.
In a nostalgic twist, Season 4 Reloaded introduces cel-shaded operator skins for legendary ’90s characters Beavis & Butt‑Head and Coach Buzzcut and Todd Ianuzzi. The skins emulate the characters’ cartoonish looks, eliciting divided player reactions regarding visibility versus nostalgic charm.
