Veteran Neyoo announces retirement from BGMI Esports

One of India’s most feared entry fraggers and BGIS 2021 MVP, Suraj “Neyoo” Mujumdar, has officially announced his retirement from BGMI esports. The 25-year-old veteran, who started his competitive journey in 2019, represented top organizations like TSM Entity and Godlike Esports. He also represented India at the prestigious PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021. His retirement marks the end of an era in the BGMI competitive scene.

Neyoo Retires from BGMI Esports

On Friday, 13 February 2026, Neyoo officially announced his retirement from professional BGMI esports. In an emotional statement, he shared that he had been away from competitive gaming for over a year.

“Hey everyone, It has been over a year since I stepped away from professional gaming. The journey had started to feel overwhelming and stressful for me. I know I told many of you several times that I would make a comeback, but deep down I never found the confidence to return. Perhaps I became too comfortable with life outside the competitive scene. Today, I want to officially announce my retirement from esports, so that no one continues to hold on to the hope of seeing me compete professionally again.”

He also reflected on his journey and thanked fans and former teammates for their support.

“From the moment I began in 2019 as a small player to being recognized and supported by all of you, it has truly been a beautiful journey. The love you showed me and the honor of being called ‘the best entry fragger of India’ is something I will carry in my heart forever. I will never forget my time with TSM Entity alongside ClutchGod, Jonathan, Zgod, and Ghatak. Those days, the championships, and the pride of representing India on the international stage are memories I will cherish for the rest of my life. Winning together again and again felt like a part of who I was. I sincerely wish nothing but success and many more trophies for all my former teammates. I sign off with gratitude, unforgettable memories, and a legacy that I will always be proud of. Thank you for everything.”
