Valorant players on PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Windows are currently experiencing game disconnection issues across the board on September 20, 2025, which led Riot Games to investigate the technical issues affecting their tactical shooter.
The game disconnection issue was initially reported at around 4:28 PM IST (GMT+5:30), when Riot Games also confirmed the extensive connectivity issues on their official server status page. The official report confirmed the development team was “aware of a problem causing players to disconnect from their games and are investigating the problem,” with all three major gaming platforms, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Windows PC, suffering from the technical issues.
The disconnection problems are a major inconvenience for Valorant players, as the server outage is affecting almost all servers across all regions. Several players complained of not being able to get stable connections in ongoing matches.
