Riot Announces New Map Pool for Valorant Season 2026 Act 2

Riot Games has announced the official map pool for the upcoming Valorant Season 2026 Act 2 update, bringing a fresh competitive rotation to the shooter and forcing teams to adapt new strategies following the conclusion of Masters Santiago.

While the detailed patch notes of the next Valorant Act have yet to be revealed, it has already been confirmed that the game won’t be receiving any new maps in the upcoming patch. Instead, fans will be able to greet two returning maps to the competitive pool, while also bidding farewell to two maps from the current map rotation.

Without further ado, let’s check out the official competitive map pool for Valorant Season 2026 Act 2.

Valorant Season 2026 Act 2 Map Rotation Revealed

As confirmed by Riot Games, Fracture and Lotus will be returning to the Valorant competitive map pool with the Season 2026 Act 2 update. The former is returning to the game after nearly a year of being in the inactive pool, while the latter was only out for roughly six months.

Both of these maps are expected to receive minor reworks, according to recent leaks. However, the devs have remained pretty tight-lipped about the potential changes either map may receive.

To make room for these maps, fans will have to say goodbye to Abyss and Corrode, both of which will be removed from the active map pool following the new patch.

Valorant Season 2026 Act 2 Release Date

The Valorant Season 2026 Act 2 update is expected to hit the live servers around March 18, 2026, once Masters Santiago comes to an end. Alongside introducing the new map pool to Valorant, it will also bring with it a new Agent, a fresh Battle Pass, cosmetics, and more.
