Valorant is about to get a brand-new weapon in the next patch, marking the first new gun that the competitive shooter has received since the addition of the Outlaw two years ago on January 9, 2024.
The new Valorant weapon, codenamed ‘Bandit,’ will be added to the game alongside the Season 2026 Act 1 update. While not much is known about this new gun in Valorant, we do know that the Bandit will be a pistol, with some even claiming that it will be capable of firing three-round bursts.
Valorant Bandit Weapon Reveal
Riot Games has yet to officially announce the new Valorant gun at the time of writing.
However, in a recent event hosted by the Valorant devs that aimed to showcase the new skins and melees in the next Act, fans were able to see the silhouette of a new pistol that is currently not in the game.
Shortly afterward, leaks started surfacing on social media platforms about Bandit, the newest weapon to be added to Valorant’s ever-growing arsenal.
While the weapon’s appearance has been leaked, its functionality still remains shrouded in mystery. Some players speculate that it could be a three-round burst pistol, but nothing has been officially confirmed yet.

As mentioned earlier, Bandit will be added to Valorant with the upcoming Season 2026 Act 1 update, which will hit the live servers on January 8, 2026 or January 9, 2026 based on your time zone.
