Fun Plus Phoenix have announced the departure of Johan ‘Meddo’ Lundborg from their Valorant roster. The announcement iterates that the decision was a mutual one. However, Meddo’s tweet has insinuated that he ‘was surprised when he go the news yesterday’, which hints at this not being a mutual decision.

Meddo had an underwhelming First Strike Finals, with the Cypher main averaging merely 156.8 ACS, with a less than 1 Kill/Death Ratio.

The 21-year-old also converted just 5% of his clutches at the event as the entire FPX roster underperformed in their defeat to SUMN FC in the Semi-Finals of Valorant First Strike: Europe.

Meddo was part of the FABRIKEN roster that was signed to be a part of the FPX roster alongside his teammates Pontus ‘Zyppan’ Eek and Tobias ‘ShadoW’ Flodstrom.

The 21-year-old has iterated his desire to find a new home as soon as possible to continue his journey in the Valorant ecosystem.

With the release of Meddo, FPX are now down to four players.

  • Kirill ‘ANGE1’ Karasiow
  • Andrey ‘Shao’ Kiprsky
  • Tobias ‘ShadoW’ Flodstrom
  • Pontus ‘Zyppan’ Eek
