Valorant 12.04 Patch Notes Revealed

Below, we’ve listed the patch notes for the Valorant 12.04 update, as confirmed by Riot Games:

ALL PLATFORMS

AGENT UPDATES

  • Killjoy
    • We are adding quality of life updates to Turret placement that match the cast paradigm of Sage’s Barrier Orb. This will help Killjoy players to angle their Turrets more precisely, without needing to position themselves at specific angles to cover the area they want.
    • Turret
      • Can now be rotated while holding down ALT-FIRE. ACTIVATE now swaps Turret direction.
  • Sova
    • Added new voicelines for Sova

BUG FIXES

  • Agent
    • Killjoy
      • Fixed a bug where an enemy’s Nanoswarm could remain invisible if you moved too quickly in and out of its detection range.
      • Fixed a bug where an enemy’s Nanoswarm could remain invisible to you after Killjoy is suppressed.
      • Fixed a bug where Nanoswarm’s disabled effects sometimes wouldn’t play when Killjoy is suppressed.
      • Fixed a bug where Turret’s vision cone would disappear from the minimap if the player right-clicks.
    • Jett
      • Fixed a bug where Drift’s passive gliding SFX was audible from the other side of Astra’s Cosmic Divide.
    • Harbor
      • Fixed a bug where Storm Surge could briefly persist into the next round when cast right before a round ends.
    • Fade
      • Fixed a bug where Nightfall’s minimap indicator was slightly smaller than the actual ability.
    • Chamber
      • Fixed a bug where Trademark would play its reactivation SFX twice if Chamber had Suppress expiring on him.
    • Skye
      • Fixed an observer bug where Seekers would not show on the minimap when Skye is an attacker.
  • Battlepass
    • Fixed an issue where hitting ESC will cause the Battlepass elements to disappear/reappear instead of taking you back a page.
  • Maps
    • Breeze
      • Various collision improvements to allow Vyse’s Arc Rose and Cypher’s Spycam to be placed on the walls.
      • Fixed multiple minor art bugs around the map.
    • General Updates
      • Minor adjustments to the geometry in a few high traffic gameplay spots on multiple maps to eliminate unintended gaps.
  • Performance
    • Since the release of patch 12.03, some players have been experiencing significant stuttering. We have deployed a hotfix that partially fixes the stutters and have created a more robust fix this patch.
  • Store
    • Fixed an issue where the background for the accessories store was missing.
    • Fixed an issue where the Reaver Bandit shows up incorrectly as a limited edition item.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • Battlepass
    • The scroll wheel currently will not work when navigating between the tiers on the battlepass or event pass. This will be fixed in patch 12.05.
