Global Esports Signs PatMen to Its Valorant Roster

Global Esports has officially confirmed the addition of Patrick “PatMen” Mendoza to its Valorant roster.

The 24-year-old bids farewell to Paper Rex following weeks of speculation, with the organization confirming his departure via an X post on December 15th.

“Recently, we have made a very difficult decision to release our rising rookie and key initiator, Patrick “PatMen” Mendoza, PRX said in a statement. “As the team has grown from strength to strength over the last several years, so too has our determination to field the absolute best roster we can. This decision comes after a comprehensive internal review involving our players, coaching staff, and performance team.”

PatMen also played a key role in Paper Rex’s Masters Toronto 2025 title-winning roster, marking the first international trophy for the org.

“It’s been an amazing run with you, Pat,” Paper Rex Performance Coach, LJ “Panda” Cheng, said. “Getting to know you and seeing your fun energetic side, bike rides through the rain, or getting ankle broken by you has been so much fun. You’ve had a positive impact on our whole team not just inside but outside the game as well. Although we are parting ways for now, I’m looking forward to seeing you grow into your full potential. You have what it takes and you know what to work on, now it’s grind time.”

Shortly after Paper Rex’s announcement, Global Esports confirmed the addition of the Filipino prodigy to its Valorant roster, finalizing the lineup ahead of the 2026 VCT season.

With this move, the Global Esports Valorant roster now includes the following players:

  • Kale ‘Autumn’ Dunne
  • Xavier ‘xavi8k’ Juan
  • Patrick ‘PatMen’ Mendoza
  • Savva ‘Kr1stal’ Fedorov
  • Go ‘UdoTan’ Kyung-Won
  • Derrick ‘Deryeon’ Yee

Fans will be able to catch the revamped Global Esports Valorant roster in action at the upcoming VCT Pacific Kickoff 2026, set to begin on January 22, 2026.
