TEZ FFMIC 2026 Spring: Dates, City Qualifiers, Format, and More

Garena has officially announced Free Fire MAX India Cup (FFMIC) 2026 Spring, the first major Free Fire esports tournament of the year in India. The tournament is open for all and brings a mix of offline city qualifiers, online in-game qualifiers, and invited teams from FFMIC 2025. With multiple stages and an offline Grand Finals, FFMIC 2026 Spring is set to be one of the biggest Free Fire events in India and a key pathway to global esports opportunities. FFMIC 2026 Spring Format Overview

FFMIC 2026 Spring will be played in four major stages: Group Stage, Knockout Stage, Point Rush, and Champion Rush. The tournament will run from February to April 2026, featuring the best teams from across India.

Group Stage (February 26 – March 8, 2026)

The Group Stage will feature a total of 48 teams. These teams will qualify through different routes:

  • 38 teams from online in-game qualifiers
  • 4 teams from offline City Qualifiers
  • 6 teams invited from FFMIC 2025

All qualified teams will be divided into 4 groups. The Group Stage will run for 2 weeks, with 3 matchdays per week, making it a total of 6 matchdays. Each matchday will consist of 6 matches. At the end of this stage, the top teams will advance to the Knockout Stage.

Knockout Stage (March 20 – April 5, 2026)

Teams will be divided into 3 groups. This stage will be played over 3 weeks, with 3 matchdays each week, making it a total of 9 matchdays. Each matchday will have 6 matches. The top 12 teams from this stage will qualify for the Point Rush and Champion Rush stages.

Point Rush (April 18, 2026)

The Point Rush stage will feature the top 12 teams from the Knockout Stage.

After each day’s matches, teams will receive Headstart Points based on their daily standings. These points will give teams an advantage heading into the Champion Rush stage.

Champion Rush – Grand Finals (April 19, 2026)

The Champion Rush stage will also feature 12 teams and will decide the FFMIC 2026 Spring Champion.

In this stage, teams will play under normal tournament rules until a team reaches a pre-decided points threshold known as the Champion Rush Point.

Once a team reaches the Champion Rush Point, the upcoming matches will become Champion Rush Point Eligible for that team.
The first team to secure a Booyah after becoming eligible will be automatically crowned the champion.

If no team manages to get a Booyah after reaching the Champion Rush Point, then the team with the highest total points after all matches will be declared the winner.
