Riot Games Unveils Caitlyn Kiramman Gameplay for 2XKO

Riot Games has revealed the first gameplay footage of the iconic Sheriff of Piltover, Caitlyn Kiramman, for its upcoming fighter 2XKO. Ahead of Season 1 and the game’s console launch later this year, a trailer showcases her as a quintessential zoner, leveraging her League of Legends roots to control space and punish aggressors.

Caitlyn’s kit centers around her signature rifle, a keep-away tool with bola shots that allow for manual aiming to really zone in. She lays traps to set up, dodge rolls to escape, and a mobile riot shield through which players can shoot while bouncing foes off of, creating “incredibly annoying” neutral control, according to early testers.

Despite being focused on range, Caitlyn turns landed setups into extremely long, high-damage combos, supported by her close-range mixups and escape options. Supers add more shooty flair to one-shot potential, topped with gun-spinning theatrics and manual aiming for tactical depth.

Her projectile-heavy, trap-rich playstyle is strongly reminiscent of the series’ NetherRealm traditions, such as those found within Mortal Kombat, but is more directly analogous to that of Street Fighter 6’s JP.

Visually, Riot incorporates Caitlyn’s signature tall hat and multi-lens rifle design from League of Legends, but her launch skins borrow directly from her special operations uniform in Arcane Season 2.
