Razer’s Project AVA Can Summon AI Faker Hologram to Your Desk

Razer has just unveiled a highly ambitious project at CES 2026 that will blend cutting-edge AI with hologram technology to provide users with their own miniaturized AI assistant. Users can select an avatar of their choice, including but not limited to League of Legends pro Faker, as their personal AI assistant.

What Is Razer Project AVA?

Project AVA is a highly ambitious take by Razer on an experimental technology where they offer an AI hologram as a desktop companion for productivity and gaming assistance. By the looks of things, the product is set to be a sleek, cylindrical transparent enclosure that will sit on a desk with an animated holographic character inside.

Powering Razer’s hardware is xAI’s Grok, which will integrate with the hardware to take its capabilities beyond the current limitations of a voice assistant by blending in technology like vision and audio sensing, where the hologram will be capable of gathering context from your computer screen as well as your surroundings. As suggested by the initial impressions, it should be capable of managing schedules, analysing spreadsheets, and translating languages, all in real time.

Despite all the marvellous tech that Razer has promised, fans were attracted by the addition of Faker as one of the AI assistants. Arguably one of the most popular figures in the gaming industry, Faker has fans across the globe, which can prove to be instrumental in getting this product out to the world.

Razer plans to launch it by the second half of 2026, with the pricing yet to be announced. However, fans can pre-book it for a refundable $20 to put their name on the waiting list for when it actually comes out.

With all the innovations happening around AI, Razer has found a unique niche to center its product on. It goes without saying that it will be expensive like their other experimental products, and whether the product can be scaled globally, we can only find out upon release, but as of now, it will find its place among one of the coolest gaming/tech products of all time.
