Format

The PMGC 2025 Grand Finals will take place from December 12 to 14, 2025, at Siam Paragon in Bangkok, Thailand. A total of 16 teams will compete in this final stage. These teams include 7 teams from The Gauntlet, 6 from the Group Stage, 2 from the Last Chance stage, and 1 team invited from the host country.

Across the three days, teams will play 18 matches, with 6 matches each day. The first two days will follow the normal tournament rules. On Day 3, the Smash Rule will be used, which changes how the champion is decided.

Teams will continue playing as usual until one team reaches a special points target called the Match Point. This Match Point is calculated as the points of the team ranked first after Match 12, plus 10 extra points.

Once a team crosses this Match Point, they become Match Point Eligible. After that, if this team wins a Winner Winner Chicken Dinner (WWCD) in any of the following matches, they will instantly become the champions of PMGC 2025.

There will be a maximum of 6 matches on Day 3. If none of the Match Point Eligible teams manage to get a WWCD, then the team with the highest total points at the end of all matches will be crowned the champion.
