PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2025 Gauntlet Day 2 Highlights

Match 1

ThunderTalk started Day 2 exactly where they left off on Day 1, securing an impressive 13-finish WWCD. With this win, they crossed the 100-point mark, taking a big step toward the Grand Finals.

For India, the opening match was rough. Orangutan couldn’t stop Regnum Carya’s aggressive push and lost three players at a crucial moment. Attanki managed to survive and secure a few points, but overall it was a poor start for the team. Regnum Carya earned 18 points, while Alpha Gaming collected 12 points.

Match 2

The second match was decent for Orangutan as they picked up 5 points. Despite having a strong position, the team lost a 4v4 fight against R8 Esports, even though OG had the early advantage.

Meanwhile, DRX, the BMIC champions, finally showed signs of a comeback and took the Chicken Dinner with 7 finishes. However, this match truly belonged to Kara Esports, who shocked everyone with 19 finishes, scoring a massive 25-point game.

Match 3

In Match 3, Orangutan delivered brilliant rotations and secured a 2nd place finish with 10 points. They had a perfect opportunity to claim their first Chicken Dinner, but a nade from TT knocked Aaru, putting OG at a disadvantage in the final moments.

Kara Esports capitalised again, eliminating WizzGod in a 3v1 clutch situation and taking the Chicken Dinner with 11 finishes. Kara continued their dominance with another strong 21-point match.

Match 4

Match 4 was the toughest game yet for Orangutan, as they were eliminated with 0 points for the first time in PMGC 2025. All players were caught during rotations and couldn’t recover.

On the other side, Madbulls strengthened their Grand Finals push with a 20-point Chicken Dinner, while DRX continued their Day 2 revival with 10 more points. eArena also performed well, securing 12 points.

Match 5

Match 5 was played on Miramar, but it brought another disappointing result for Orangutan. Their IGL was picked off during rotations, and the team was later wiped out by D’Xavier while trying to secure the zone.

Attanki and AK earned one finish each, giving the team just 2 points. Turkey’s Regnum Carya claimed the Chicken Dinner with 10 finishes, while fellow Turkish side Kara Esports grabbed 19 points.

Match 6

In the final match of the day, Orangutan once again took a drop clash against Alpha Gaming in Chumacera, but this time Alpha Gaming got their revenge for yesterday’s loss. OG lost three players early, leaving captain Aaru to play for survival, but he was eventually taken down by ThunderTalk, ending the game early for the team. It marked another disappointing result for Orangutan on Day 2.

On the other side, Alpha7 secured their second Chicken Dinner of the day with 16 points, while Kara Esports continued their strong momentum by adding 12 more points to their tally.
