Matches Summary
Match 1 – Rondo
The first match was on Rondo. Orangutan had a tough start as they lost 3 players early in a drop fight against Kara Esports (Kara 3–0 OG). Aaru managed to revive players and kept the team in the game. Even after losing another player during rotation, OG still finished in the Top 4 with 5 eliminations because of strong survival.
AKOP played very well in the end circles, but Virtus.pro won the match with 11 eliminations. ThunderTalk Gaming came 2nd with 15 points, and R8 Esports had a strong start with 12 eliminations before Orangutan eliminated them.
Match 2 – Erangel
Match 2 was stressful for Orangutan as they again lost three players early. Captain Aaru played solo and carried the team to a Top 2 finish, earning 7 important points and avoiding a zero-point game. R8 Esports won the match with 10 eliminations, ThunderTalk stayed consistent with 8 points, Regnum Carya scored 10 points, and Wolves earned 6.
Match 3 – Erangel
In Match 3, Brazil’s Alpha7 Esports dominated and won the chicken dinner with 17 eliminations, scoring 27 points and moving to 2nd place overall. Thailand’s eArena finished 2nd with 10 points. Orangutan again played well and added 8 more points — their third straight Top 4 performance.
Match 4 – Erangel
Match 4 was taken by China’s ThunderTalk Gaming, who secured the chicken dinner with 18 eliminations and became the overall leaders after four games. Madbulls scored 20 points, Wolves got 8, and ULF and GS Team earned 7 and 5 points. Orangutan struggled in this match and got only 1 point — their weakest game of the day.
Match 5 – Miramar
In Match 5, Orangutan played well and earned 14 points, but they will still be disappointed. This match was a perfect chicken dinner chance. While pushing DX, WizzGod and Aaru moved forward to finish a player but got knocked and eliminated, which turned the fight around. OG had to settle for 3rd place. Madbulls won the match with 22 points, and DX earned 12 points.
Match 6 – Erangel
In the final match, Orangutan defeated Alpha Gaming — a team known as one of the best in the world — right in their own area. AKOP took two early kills, giving OG a strong start and making it clear once again that Chumacera belongs to India. But the match still didn’t go their way, as they were later eliminated by Kara and finished with only 4 points.
ThunderTalk Gaming ended the day with a 20-point chicken dinner. Wolves followed with 17 points, and Kara finished with 12.
The Gauntlet will feature 16 qualified teams from different regional championships. A total of 18 matches will be played over three days, from November 24 to 26, with six matches each day. The top 7 teams from this stage will move to the Grand Finals, while the remaining teams will go to the Group Stage.
