After Orangutan, the second and final Indian team in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025, True Rippers, has also been eliminated from the tournament after a disappointing performance in the Red Group matches of the Group Stage. Jelly’s squad could not finish inside the top 11 of the overall Red Group standings, which resulted in their exit from the event. Earlier on Sunday, Orangutan also failed to secure a top-11 finish. This year, India received two slots in the PMGC for the first time, but unfortunately, both Indian teams have now been knocked out of the prestigious championship.
True Rippers eliminated from PMGC 2025
The Group Stage of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025 has ended, and the top three teams from the overall standings have advanced directly to the Grand Finals. Teams placed from 4th to 11th will now move to the Last Chance stage, while the bottom five teams, including True Rippers, have been eliminated from the tournament.
True Rippers, featuring players Jelly, Harsh, Hydro, and Kio, earned 62 points across 18 matches in the Group Stage. They finished in 14th place, falling short of the top 11 cutoff by a 22-point margin.

Both True Rippers and Orangutan struggled in PMGC 2025. Orangutan managed to secure one WWCD, but their inconsistent fights cost them crucial points, leading to their elimination. True Rippers showed intent in the later matches and tried taking more fights, but they could not convert their zones into strong finishes.
This tournament once again highlighted the gap Indian teams need to overcome at the global level, showing that while the potential is there, consistent performances are still missing.
