GUILD Brings In Bad News Eagles Roster; Becomes Guild Eagles

Guild Esports has made a significant move by acquiring the roster of Bad News Eagles, marking a new chapter in their competitive journey. This acquisition is not just a mere addition to Guild’s portfolio but a strategic step towards strengthening its presence in the world of Counter-Strike, especially with the release of CS2.

The Rise of Guild Eagles

The UK-based esports organization, Guild Esports, previously ventured into Counter-Strike with a female team. Now, they are expanding their footprint by signing their first male roster, previously known as Bad News Eagles. This team, now rebranded as Guild Eagles, consists of talented players Flatron “juanflatroo” Halimi, Rigon “rigoN” Gashi, Genc “gxx-” Kolgeci, Sener “SENER1” Mahmuti, and Dionis “sinnopsyy” Budeci.

These players have been making waves in the esports world without organizational support, attending three Counter-Strike Majors and reaching the Legends stage in all of them. Their journey is a testament to their skill and determination, making them a perfect fit for Guild’s ethos.

Jasmine Skee, CEO of Guild Esports, expressed excitement about this new venture. The timing coincides with the release of CS2, presenting an opportune moment to increase Guild’s involvement in Counter-Strike. The trajectory of the Bad News Eagles roster aligns with Guild’s values, and the organization is eager to support them in their future endeavors.

Coaching and Future Prospects

The coaching staff, consisting of Jonatan “Devilwalk” Lundberg and Kevin “kRYSTAL” Amend, have also transitioned to Guild. They bring with them a wealth of experience and a shared vision for success in CS2. The team’s debut under the Guild banner is set for the CCT 2023 Online Finals 4, where they will face Preasy in the upper-bracket quarter-final.
