Epic Games is gearing up for Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 with the long-awaited Wave 2 of the Marvel Rivals event, which will introduce new hero shooter elements to Battle Royale. Leaked information from trusted sources such as ShiinaBR has revealed that the feature characters will be Luna Snow and Magik, who will arrive with the v39.40 update.
The new cosmetics will arrive on February 5, 2026, coinciding with Valentine’s Day events and changes to the loot pool, including increased SMGs and the return of Shockwave Grenades. The following items will arrive in the Item Shop:
- Luna Snow and Magik skins for 1,500 V-Bucks
- Back blings for 500 V-Bucks
- Pickaxes for 800 V-Bucks
- Doom 2099 from Wave 1 will also return, along with its 2099 Cape, for 1,500 V-Bucks
Luna Snow sports her “Idol” look, ideal for Fortnite’s colorful aesthetic, perhaps with a Jam Track. Magik, Colossus’s magic-wielding sister and Duelist, shows off her Rivals Soulsword look as a possible back bling or pickaxe, injecting some demonic flair. These are the next Wave 1’s Doom 2099, released in December 2024, further solidifying the NetEase-Epic collaboration.
Marvel Rivals enthusiasts appreciate the designs’ authenticity, with Magik’s armor enhancements and Luna’s healer feel igniting Marvel crossover excitement.
