Fortnite Love and Legends Update Roadmap Revealed

With the highly anticipated Fortnite 39.40 update just around the corner, Epic Games has revealed the full roadmap for the game’s ‘Love and Legends’ event. 

The 39.40 update will kick off the Valentine event in Fortnite while also introducing a bunch of exciting cosmetics including the Chappell Roan crossover skin. Alongside these new additions, players will also be able to see various bug fixes and other changes following the upcoming patch.

Fortnite Love and Legends Event Release Date & Downtime

Epic Games has confirmed that the Fortnite Love and Legends event will kick off on February 5 with the 39.40 update.

The devs have also shed light on the detailed roadmap of the event in an X post on the official Fortnite handle.

Note that players will have to sit through a period of downtime before they can tune into the Fortnite for v39.40 update. The downtime is scheduled to begin starting 4 am ET, with matchmaking ending shortly beforehand.

The downtime for the Fortnite 39.40 update is expected to take around 90 minutes, which means the servers are likely to be back up and running by 5:30 am ET.

Fortnite Love and Legends Event Roadmap

Taking a look at the Fortnite ‘Love and Legends’ event roadmap, we can see that there’s a ton of new content in store for the game’s player base over the next month.

Players will be able to enjoy Power Hours, lots of free and paid cosmetics, and other gameplay changes. Nitemare Island will be returning to Fortnite on February 13th, while the OG Ice Storm event will kick off starting February 15th.
