Danny Phantom is officially phasing into Fortnite’s ever-expanding multiverse, as Epic Games confirms the cult-classic Nickelodeon hero will appear in the Item Shop on December 5, 2025. The drop positions Fortnite to tap directly into early-2000s cartoon nostalgia, keeping its Chapter 7 cosmetic pipeline packed with recognizable IP.
The collaboration brings a complete Danny Phantom set headlined by a playable Danny skin featuring two selectable styles. His regular human look and his iconic white-haired ghost form emulate his transformation from the original series. Long-time fans won’t be alone on the Island either. Sam Manson, Danny’s goth best friend and eventual love interest, joins as a separate outfit, currently shown with one primary style. While Epic has not yet published final prices, leakers and regional coverage suggest a standard licensed structure. Individual skins around 1,500 V-Bucks and a discounted bundle combining both outfits.
The collab follows weeks of dataminer chatter and encrypted “cell-shaded” bundles discovered in recent updates, which many correctly linked to a Nickelodeon crossover before Epic’s social channels quietly confirmed Danny in an upcoming Item Shop rotation. The timing fits a busy December schedule that already includes other crossover-themed drops, reinforcing Epic’s strategy of using short, high-impact IP beats to sustain engagement across a live-service season.
Beyond the cosmetics themselves, Danny Phantom’s arrival underscores Fortnite’s deepening relationship with Paramount and Nickelodeon. It has already produced crossovers like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and is fueling ongoing rumors about SpongeBob SquarePants and South Park content coming later in Chapter 7.
