The ESEA Premier CSGO tournament was under Esports Integrity Commission or ESIC’s radar for a long time due to possible match-fixing behaviors. Last day, ESIC confirmed with a press release, that the two former Rebirth members retchy and 4pack will be banned for breaching ESIC’s Anti-Corruption Code.

As at the date of this interim release, ESIC announces sanctions against three participants and is in the process of carrying out 34 additional investigations relating to this matter.

retchy, 4pack along with nosraC had already been suspended since 2nd April 2021. While retchy and 4pack received a 5-years ban till 2026, nosraC’s 111 days ban already ended on 22nd July.
The suspension started in April when ESIC found a recording of a conversation among those three players discussing match-fixing plans in ESEA MDL. ESIC also declared that the opposing team’s vek and J0LZ are clear as they didn’t breach the code.
