A revamped FPL is focused on polishing the young talent by letting them participate at higher levels thanks to the new qualifying system. A reward fund for the current season gives top performers even more incentive. In addition to the current weekly awards of $147,000, the champion and the top 10 players at the end of the season get $50,000.

A strong anti-cheat system has been introduced that targets the use of multiple accounts as part of the upgrade. The new method has implemented a verification procedure for accounts to identify and control smurfing, with possible penalties for persistent infractions. In addition to receiving alerts, players who have numerous accounts may now be subject to temporary or permanent limitations.

Putting aside all this, the UI will get a significant revamp aimed at improving navigation and performance. This leads to players having a better experience when browsing through the platform.
