Reigning Major champions, Vitality has started 2026 with a statement win against a rejuvenated Virtus.pro side in BLAST Bounty 2026 under the leadership of Perfecto. Vitality won 2-0 and effortlessly rode with their momentum from 2025 as they kicked off the first win of the season on a high note.

Vitality started strong on their defense with a solid pistol round conversion before VP hit the scoreboard as soon as the guns came out. Winning 3 back-to-back rounds, Vitality snatched back momentum. It seemed to be running away with the game before VP made it competitive, winning 2 rounds at the end of the first half to make the scoreboard a little competitive with a 7-5 scoreline. VP leveled the scoreline at the start of the second half, but the Vitality offence came alive with the first gun round, winning back-to-back 5 rounds in a row to seal the deal on Overpass. 21 kills from ZyWoo sealed a solid 13-8 win for the Major champs to start their first event of 2026.

Despite starting strong with back-to-back 4 rounds, VP dropped the ball, leading to Vitality winning the rest of the half on their offense as both teams switched sides, as Vitality ran away with a big 8-4 lead. VP started the second half with a pistol win, but Vitality force-buy turned the momentum once again, leading to an effortless win off the back of the massive lead they had gained in the first half. A 23 kill flameZ masterclass put the game to bed as they progress further into BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 1.
Vitality has picked up right where they left off as a confident and dominant force in CS2 esports, with no signs of them taking their foot off the gas. Individuals are shining, working like a well-oiled system. It looks like 2026 is on its way to be Vitality’s year once again.
