GenOne has dropped a shocking announcement for their new lineup in competitive CS2, fielding a French roster of former Vitality and Falcons stars. In a venture that they have dubbed their most ambitious one so far, the roster boasts a solid CS background with a fine blend of young talent.
Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt headlines the roster for his experience playing in top-tier teams and having spent a long time at the highest level of competitive CS. The 31-year-old boasts a top-tier trophy cabinet that has two Majors and flourished as a supportive player and secondary IGL in the later years of his career.
Joining him will be a fellow mate from Vitality in Kévin “misutaaa” Rabier, who spent a considerable amount of time in Vitality and in several lesser-known teams across the French region. Thomas “Djoko” Pavoni is 3rd notable name in the roster who has showcased a solid track record against top teams in recent years.
Rounding out the team will be two young talents who we assume will be carrying the majority of the firepower. Hugo “Brooxsy” Di Bono, being a familiar face under the GenOne banner, has dropped performances good enough for the organisation to retain him, and Jordan “Chucky” Molnar has displayed solid performances in the last season, to him a key element of firepower in the freshly minted lineup.
GenOne’s roster will be:
- Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt
- Thomas “Djoko” Pavoni
- Kévin “misutaaa” Rabier
- Hugo “Brooxsy” Di Bono
- Jordan “Chucky” Molnar
- Damien “wasiNk” Dufour (coach)
The new GenOne line-up will debut in the DraculaN Season 2 group stage, where they are amongst the favourites to go through, but waiting in the playoffs will be the likes of OG, FlyQuest, and ECSTATIC. The roster looks promising on paper, but only time can tell if they become a competitive force that can climb up the tier ladder of professional CS2.
