Starting the map with a pistol win, FURIA hit the board by converting the force buy, only for FURIA to win the 3rd Round with a force of their own. FURIA dominated for the entirety of the match, with Aurora managing to retake 2 rounds in between to trail with a massive deficit by the end of the first half. Switching sides with a 9-3 lead, FURIA started their defence with two rounds before Aurora converted the first gun round, before FURIA won two more to close the game with a 13-4 scoreline. Back-to-back masterclass riflery from KSCERATO, dropping 22 kills and 1.99 IR, saw FURIA close the Quarter-Finals with a dominant performance
Aurora’s run in Krakow ends here. While they came with lots of expectations on their shoulders, their valiant efforts only got them as far as the quarter-finals. Only time will tell if the line-up works with the new name, but as they take an exit at this stage, it wouldn’t be long before we see them hitting hard in the coming events.
