FaZe Clan Outshines NAVI in BLAST Open London 2025

With a rookie on a team of superstars, FaZe Clan is shining once again as they take down NAVI in the most dominant fashion to book their spot in the next round at the BLAST Open London 2025.

  • Inferno was left over

Map 1: Mirage; Pick: NAVI; Winner: FaZe

NAVI won the first round with a stellar force buy conversion after FaZe started the map with a pistol round victory. While no one team largely dominated the half, FaZe remained in the lead for the better part before NAVI leveled the scoreline before the end of the half. While NAVI gained momentum in the first half, it was Broky who stole the show with his magical 1v3 clutch. Replicating the first half, the second started with momentum swaying between both sides before FaZe took control of the offence, rendering NAVI defenceless. Winning 5 rounds in a row, FaZe hit map point and lost one more round before closing out the half with a convincing scoreline of 13-8. With 22 kills and 1.87 IR, Broky showed that FaZe’s reinstating him was not a hasty decision.

Map 2: Dust 2; Pick: FaZe; Winner: FaZe

Another pistol loss to start the map for NAVI, but unlike Mirage, Dust2 had the FaZe offence breaking NAVI with repetitive strategies. Winning 6 rounds in a row, FaZe did not let NAVI have a piece of the pie until the very end, where they won two rounds to salvage the half with an 8-4 scoreline. The second half started with NAVI failing to close a pistol round for the fourth time in this series as FrozeN completed the retake with a flying pistol kill. It wasn’t until the first gun round that NAVI won their first round of the T side, but it was too late as they were staring at an 11-5 scoreline at this point. It was off the back of this round that NAVI started to mount a comeback with w0nderful, pulling off a 1v3 to keep his side in the game. The streak was broken, but it took a 1v3 clutch for the second time in the series from Broky to pull FaZe to a series point and a B site split in the following round, getting shut down sealed the deal for them.

Winning the map with a 13-10 score, it was 23 kills from FrozeN with Broky’s sharp shooting backing him up that put FaZe 2-0 to secure a tough win for them.

While this isn’t the end for NAVI, it is abundantly clear that the roster is in complete disarray, and without a viable replacement for jL, it is a difficult downhill from bl4de and his men in yellow.
