New CS2 Update Improves Performance & Spectator Mode Alongside Various Map Fixes

Valve has rolled out a new update for Counter-Strike 2 on February 5, and it brings with it various fixes and improvements to the shooter.

While the new CS2 patch isn’t the biggest we’ve seen recently, it does include some much-needed fixes to the game’s spectator mode, alongside performance improvements. There are also some adjustments to Anubis, while the community map Poseidon is also seeing an update.

Moving forward, switching first-person spectator targets will no longer reset viewmodel animations. An issue where physics calculations far from the origin would cause performance issues has also been fixed.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at everything you need to know about the latest CS2 update.
