Krafton India has rolled out the BGMI 4.1 Update, packing a heavy mix of winter vibes, India-exclusive content, and globally loved game modes. The update goes live ahead of the festive season and introduces Frosty Funland, the Haunted Indian Bride Anamika, the survival-focused Metro Royale, and even a Porsche supercar for high-speed fans.
The Frosty Funland theme turns Erangel into a bright, playful winter map featuring Penguinville, snow villages, mini-events, NPCs, and new tactical tools. Players get access to items like Magic Ice Skates, a Winterland Kar-98K with ice rounds, a Salted Fish Rocket Launcher, and a four-seater Penguin Snowmobile.
One highlight is POWNIN, a Mythical Ninja Penguin companion who can throw shurikens, teleport during clutch moments, and share supplies. He adds a quirky but tactical layer to the update’s theme mode.
Krafton has also introduced Anamika, the Haunted Indian Bride, available as an NPC in Erangel and the HUB. Taking her down gives players horror-themed skins, upgradeable weapons, and KOL voice packs. She can also trigger boss fights with unique abilities and reward tokens.
Metro Royale returns with extraction-based gameplay, seasonal progression, elite bosses, and an upgraded Command Centre system. New players get better onboarding, while veterans get deeper progression and curated weekly missions.
The update rounds out with themed events such as Winter Warfare Exchange Centre, Rocket Exchange Centre, Weekend Grind rewards, and the return of the Mahindra BE6 spin. Players can also test drive the new Porsche supercar for added realism.
Krafton says the new update aims to keep the winter months lively with fresh challenges, story-driven characters, and plenty of seasonal grind.
