The confusion started after Destro uploaded a video on Sunday, March 8. Many fans believed that the legendary IGL was announcing his retirement from BGMI esports.

However, during his stream he clarified that the message was misunderstood. Destro said that before the video went live he had already accepted the situation, but once it was posted, he received a huge response from the community.
