All BGIS Winners and MVPs from 2021 to 2025: Battlegrounds Mobile India Series History

BGIS 2021 – The Beginning of the India Series

The first-ever BGIS took place in 2021 with a prize pool of ₹1 crore and was played fully online. Skylightz Gaming, featuring Saumraj, Gamlaboy, Destro, and Pukar, became the inaugural champions after showing outstanding consistency. TSM finished second, while Team XO secured third place.

Although the tournament offered a PMGC 2021 slot to the champions, passport issues for multiple players from the top three teams resulted in the fourth-placed team, GodLike Esports, representing India in Saudi Arabia at the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021.

Neyoo from GodLike Esports won the MVP award. Saumraj earned both The Lone Ranger and The Rampage Freak titles, while Zgod won The Redeemer award.

BGIS 2023 – The First LAN Finals in Mumbai

The second edition of BGIS created history as the Grand Finals were held offline for the first time at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium in Mumbai. Fans packed the venue to witness intense live action. Gladiators Esports, including Destro, Justin, DeltaPG, and SHOGUN, lifted the trophy in front of thousands of fans. Big Brother Esports finished second, and Team XSpark claimed third place.

With this win, Destro became the first player to win BGIS twice and back-to-back — once as a player and then as an IGL.

DeltaPG was named MVP of BGIS 2023, while Saif from Big Brother Esports earned the FMVP award for his brilliant finals performance. Duk from GlitchxReborn won the Rising Star award, and Manya from Blind Esports earned the Best IGL award.
