What Is 120 FPS in BGMI?

In BGMI, the 120 FPS mode is listed as the “Ultra Extreme” frame rate setting under graphics options. iPhone and iPad Support

Most iPhones are capped at 60 FPS in the game due to iOS system-level restrictions. However, iPad Pro models do support higher frame rates in BGMI. The iPhone 13 series and above were previously listed on early 120 FPS compatibility charts, so an official unlock in a future patch remains possible.

How to Enable 120 FPS in BGMI

Once you confirm your phone is on the supported list, follow these steps to turn on the setting:​

1. Open BGMI and go to Settings
2. Tap on Graphics & Audio
3. Under the Graphics tab, set the style to Smooth
4. Look for the Frame Rate option and select Ultra Extreme
5. Go to your phone’s System Settings > Display and set refresh rate to 120Hz
6. Disable Battery Saver mode and enable Performance Mode via your phone’s Game Booster app

If “Ultra Extreme” does not appear, your device is likely not yet certified by Krafton, even if it has a 120Hz screen. ​
