The BGMI 4.1 update is officially releasing on 13 November 2025, bringing a new winter-themed mode called Frosty Funland. The penguins have arrived on Erangel after their old home melted. They’ve built a new place called Penguinville, full of loot, surprises, and friendly animals who help or challenge you in battle. The BGMI new update 4.1 will also add exciting gameplay features like vehicles, rocket launcher, items, weapons, Animal NPCs, new locations, map updates, and more. BGMI 4.1 Update: Theme Mode, New Rohzok Water City, New Vehicle, Items, NPCs, and More
New Rohzok Water City
The upcoming BGMI new 4.1 update brings a fresh makeover to Rozhok and Water City, completely changing how these areas look and play. Water City now features new ports, boats, and cranes, giving it a design similar to Novo Port. These updates are set to make close-range fights even more exciting and intense.
Frosty Funland Mode
In this mode, players can explore Penguinville, meet different animal NPCs, and enjoy new items and weapons. You’ll find lots of loot, but also face more fights.
New Vehicle: Penguin Snowmobile
- A new 4-player snowmobile can travel on land and water.
- It can shoot snowballs that make enemies slip.
- Passengers can give a speed boost while riding.

New Items and Weapons
Salted Fish Rocket Launcher: Shoots freezing rockets that create ice and slow enemies. It also has a fire-boost skill to move faster.
Magic Ice Skates: Let players jump and glide on ice trails. The trails disappear after some time or when shot.
Swordfish Syringe: Heals you or teammates when thrown, and gives a short speed boost.
Quickshot Elixir: Makes reloading and switching weapons faster.
Winterland Kar98K: A new icy version of the Kar98K sniper rifle with faster aim and a special ice explosion effect.
Animal NPCs
You can meet and interact with many animal characters:
- Ninja Penguin PowNin – A penguin fighter who joins your team and attacks enemies.
- Polar Bear Gunsmith – Gives missions and rewards special weapons.
- Magic Fox – Summons portals and gives Ice Skates.
- Cupid Penguin – Take photos with it to get rewards.
- Apothecary Penguin – Mixes elixirs using apples.
- Zoomer Penguin – Sells supplies and gives free items.
- Stylist Fox – Changes your hairstyle and gives rewards.
New Locations
- Penguinville: A big snowy city full of loot and snowmobiles.
- Penguin Town: Smaller villages with supplies and penguin residents.
Classic Mode Changes
PUBG Mobile has also made some weapon changes:
- Assault rifles deal a bit less damage at long range.
- Shotguns are slightly weaker at close range.
- Sniper rifles are more stable when firing.
- FAMAS now supports new magazine attachments.
- Sound, aiming, and reload effects have also been improved for a better combat feel.
Map Updates
- A new Boatyard area has been added between Rozhok and Ruins on Erangel.
- Wild Berries now grow across Erangel and can restore health.
- Loot Trucks return with better rewards.
- You can now carry enemy loot crates.
- The Supply Shop adds new packs, recall rewards, and discounts.
BGMI 4.1 Update Release Date and Time
The BGMI 4.1 update will be released on 13 November 2025. The update will start rolling out for Android users at 6:30 AM and for iOS users at 9:30 AM. Players can also download the update from the official website at 12:30 PM (IST).
