With the highly anticipated Marvel Rivals Season 5 update being just around the corner, the abilities of Gambit, one of the two new heroes set to join the roster in the upcoming patch, appear to have leaked online.
For the uninitiated, NetEase has confirmed that Gambit and Rogue will be the two additions to the list of playable characters in Marvel Rivals with the game’s Season 5 update. However, the devs have yet to fully disclose the abilities of either of the new heroes.
Luckily, we may have a fairly good idea about Gambit’s full kit based on the ability names that have already leaked on the internet. And while we still have to wait till NetEase’s official confirmation, Gambit’s leaked abilities should give us a clearer picture of his overall role in Marvel Rivals.
Marvel Rivals Gambit: All Leaked Abilities
Without further ado, let’s check out all the leaked abilities of Gambit that we know of so far:
- Kinetic Energy Card: Gambit throws a playing card that can be charged to deal additional damage.
- Energy Accumulation: Gambit passively charges Kinetic Energy and unleashes it on his enemies for a burst of damage.
- Node Card Array – Projection: Gambit sets up his cards as traps throughout the map, which can be used to attack enemies.
- Node Card Array – Recycling: Gambit replaces his traps on the map with new cards after a cooldown.
As mentioned earlier, none of these abilities has been officially confirmed as of yet, so take them with a grain of salt.
Marvel Rivals Gambit Release Date
It has been confirmed that Gambit will hit the live servers at some point during Marvel Rivals Season 5. However, it remains unclear if he’ll be the mid-season addition or will be available to play from the get-go of the new update.
The Marvel Rivals Season 5 update will go live on November 14, 2025, alongside a new playable character, a fresh Battle Pass, and more.
