How to Preload Resident Evil Requiem

The preloads for Resident Evil Requiem are live on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Therefore, you can download the whole thing before the launch. As long as you have a digital pre-order, you can start downloading the files now instead of watching a progress bar on launch night.

Release Date & Size

Capcom’s ninth core Resident Evil game will launch on all platforms on February 27, 2026, with preloads going live worldwide on February 24-25, depending on the store and your region. Be prepared for a large download size: around 73 GB on PC, 72.88 GB on PS5, 68.5 GB on Xbox Series X/S, and 27-29 GB on Nintendo Switch 2, plus a little extra for the deluxe editions.
