Honor of Kings officially launched in India on March 11, 2026, and thousands of new players are jumping in for the first time. If you picked a random username during registration and now want something cooler, here is exactly how to change your name in Honor of Kings.
Your First Name Change Is Free
Every account gets one free name change in Honor of Kings. You do not need any card or currency for this. Follow these steps:
- Open Honor of Kings and tap your profile picture in the top-left corner
- Tap Settings in the top-right corner
- Select Info (or Profile)
- Tap the pencil/brush icon next to your current name
- Type your new name and tap Complete
Make sure the name you want is not already taken by another player, or the game will reject it.
How to Change Your Name Again (Name Change Card)
After using your free rename, you will need a Name Change Card for every subsequent change. Here is how to get one:
- Go to the in-game Shop
- Select Treasures, then Special Offers
- Click the Daily tab to find the Name Change Card
- Purchase it for 90 Tokens (roughly $1 USD)
You can buy the card using limited-time event Tokens, regular Tokens, or a combination of both.
Rules You Must Know
Before renaming your account, keep these restrictions in mind:
- You can only change your name once every 15 days
- Your new name must be unique and not already used by another player
- Names with prohibited words or banned symbols will be rejected
- Name Change Cards are consumed immediately upon confirming the new name
How to Get a Free Name Change Card
You do not always have to spend Tokens to rename yourself. Honor of Kings occasionally runs in-game events that hand out free Name Change Cards as rewards. Keep an eye on the events tab regularly. You can also earn limited-time event Tokens through gameplay and use those to buy the card without spending real money.
