Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag, CEO of 100 Thieves revealed that his organization 100 Thieves is planning a comeback to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, through YouTube earlier today. 100 Thieves’ initial venture into CS:GO dates back to late 2017 when the American organization signed ex-Immortal players. The ex-Immortal squad were runners-up at the PGL Krakow major in Poland back then.

Unfortunately, the squad could not attend the next major — ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018 due to VISA/immigration issues. Soon, the project drifted apart as the organization initially kicked Brazilian star player Vito ‘kNgV-‘ Giuseppe. The other four followed the same fate and 100 Thieves finally seized their operation in CS:GO.

According to HLTV, 100 Thieves is possibly targeting OpTic Gaming lineup as the parent company Immortal Gaming Club (IGC)already owns a CS:GO roster under MIBR tag. IGC recently acquired OpTic Gaming and it will have to bid goodbye to either of the roster and it is quite expected for them to move forward with MIBR, considering their fanbase and superior ranking.

Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke also recently tweeted “??” which suggests that he and his teammates might have been signed by 100 Thieves or any other organization. If the rumours are to be believed, 100 Thieves lineup would be:

  • Mathias ‘MSL’ Lauridsen
  • Kristian ‘k0nfig’ Wienecke
  • Nikolaj ‘niko’ Kristensen
  • Ismail ‘refrezh’ Ali
  • Rene ‘TeSeS’ Madsen
  • Casper “ruggah” Due (Coach)
