Streamer passes away while raising money for charity through Make a Wish Foundation

Good deeds don’t guarantee you long lives. A popular streamer from The United States passed away after attempting to stream for uninterrupted 24 hours. The streamer which goes by the name PosyBird was reportedly raising funds for Make a Wish Foundation.

After completing 22 hours of his 24-hour-long stream planned for charity purposes, Brian ‘PosyBird’ Vigneault from Virginia Beach, Virginia, U.S., reportedly disappeared from his stream and never returned, moderators informed. Assuring the calamity to general public information, Nighbot has a sticky message on his chatbox which reads:

“Known info so far: Around 3:30AM CST Posgy said he was going for smokes and left the stream running, He never returned. around 11 AM CST we were all still here assuming he had fallen asleep. around 19:00 Sorelor sees him online in discord and messages him. The person who responded identified himself as a detective and asked Sore to call him. Sore spoke with him, Called the Virginia Beach police department to confirm the detective’s identity. The detective confirmed Brian had passed.”

Although we are yet to get a response from Twitter on this unforeseen situation, it is very common practice followed by famous streamers across the world of staying up for close to 2 to 4 days to respond to the Streaming Marathon Challenge. In the case of Brian, however, things turned out to be pretty sad and depressing. The loss of life of this young streamer was made public by Brian’s clan “FAME” on facebook where they left a message for the thirty-five-year-old streamer.

“Sad news from Virginia beach , one of the most famous NA streamers and a member of our clan Poshybrid has passed away at the age of 35 , we just can not find words to describe how sad is this moment for all of us and for sure this game will not be the same without the legend.Maybe the saddest lines can not really be written , and the saddest thoughts can not really be uttered , let’s all hope that he is in a better place right now and may his soul Rest in Peace , he will never be forgotten … a person who stays in our hears never dies…”
