Splyce’s Davey caught stream-snipping during the IEM Katowice Online qualifier

Splyce’s David “Davey” Stafford in the North American IEM Katowice Open Qualifier had troubling accusations after he was caught stream-snipping during the game.

The 21-year-old could be heard in the game chat referring their opponents’ in-game economy during the broadcast.

David, however, denied the allegations made against him on Twitter, the tweet have since been deleted.

Spylce’s co-owner Marty also defended the player’s stand, and called it a ‘bad joke.’

The team later won the game 16-9 before going on to the finals, they eventually defeated compLexity Gaming 2-0 for a spot in the Closed Qualifier.

The North American team is expected to play in the closed qualifier this upcoming weekend, which will determine who goes to the main international event in Katowice, Poland in February.
