DreamHack Masters returns. The $450,000 event taking place in Las Vegas will offer eight teams from across the world to compete and earn the slot to the mega festival. MGM Grand will be the venue of choice for DreamHack Masters which takes place from February 15th-19th, 2017.
Routinely, eight of the sixteen participants will be drawn through direct invites, whereas the remaining eight battles it out through the qualifiers. The eight teams will make their way to the grand fest at DreamHack Las Vegas.

Open Regional Qualifiers
The qualifiers are divided into two parts. The Open Regional Qualifiers and the Closed Qualifier. Open Regional Qualifiers consist of the following regional qualifiers for across Asia:
- South East Asia | 2 slots | 21st-27th November
- East Asia | 1 Slot | 24th-27th November
- China | 1 Slot | 23rd-27th November
- Oceania | 1 Slot | 18th-20th November
- India & Middle East | 1 Slot | 17th-19th November
The winners from Regional Qualifiers will progress to the Closed Qualifier to the group stages along with the invited teams, where they battle it out for a slot to DreamHack Masters Las Vegas.
